Cream Soda Museum for VOCA 2027 is an online museum established by artist Yuichiro Nakamura, an exhibition held at The Ueno Royal Museum in 2027.
Nakamura is an artist who creates and presents works under a wide range of artistic pseudonyms, critically and poetically reexamining the institution of art through the concept of authorship.
Each pseudonym possesses its own distinct style, theme, and system. Together, these authors and their works raise fundamental questions such as: What is an author? What constitutes an artist's identity? What does consistency mean? And ultimately, what is art?
The museum aims to archive Nakamura's diverse artistic activities from April 2026 onward and present them as a single, interconnected art world.
